AEBS lays the groundwork for a life-long love of learning by combining the benefits of multilingual and intercultural education, promoting international awareness. We strive to provide opportunities to reach both the intrinsic and extrinsic educational potential of every student. Perhaps the best way to describe AEBS is to think about the meaning behind the words of the mission statement. It reflects the school’s philosophy as follows:
EABS is a growing center and school designed to specifically meet the needs of infants through early school grades. We provide our children with the love and attention needed to feel safe and secure in such a big world. Children learn best discovering the world within their natural environment. Our comprehensive curriculum creates a lifelong love of learning by providing them with a myriad of experiences, which prepares each child with the ability to adapt socially and become an enlightened human being. We believe a child's learning ability, cultural awareness, and potential for success is enhanced by achieving competencies in a language beyond their own, in a classroom where children from various cultures both learn and share together. It is, therefore, fundamental that our school provides a multi-lingual and multi-cultural education as the foundation for building the future of our communities and the world. JDNI teachers and parents are encouraged to work together to provide the love and support needed as your child reaches developmental milestones.
Our school strives to examine what, where and how children should learn in order to thrive in a dynamic world. The key to high-quality teaching in our school is to gear learning experiences to children’s progressively more complex approaches to understanding the world. In our school we prepared world citizens to live ethical and reflective lives in rapidly changing environments.
Spanish Immersion Reggio International School puts into practice many of the fundamental aspects of the work of Dewey, Bruner,Boyer, Loris Malaguzzi, Vygotsky, Howard Gardner and many others. It is a system that lends itself to: the role of collaboration among children, teachers and parents; the co-construction of knowledge; the interdependence of individual and social learning; and the role of culture in understanding this interdependence.
Dr Howard Gardner is the creator of the theory of the multi intelligence which intelligence goes far beyond the traditional verbal/linguistic and logical/mathematical measurements. Reggio Emilia International School strongly believes that guiding our students with multi intelligence has had a profound impact on the children’s education, how they think is more visible and understand the world differently.

Our belief is that the experience of life is enhanced through contact with others of differing backgrounds and cultures. In alignment with our internationally minded philosophy, we seek to attract and welcome families from a variety of ethnic, national and cultural backgrounds.
Focus on Students
One important benefit offered by Jardín de Niños is our small class sizes. Lower ratio of students to teachers provides the opportunity for increased interactions between the learner and the teacher, more individualized instruction when needed, and lessons tailored to meet student needs. Our goal is to maintain a ratio of 10 students per teacher.
Focus on Language
The hallmark of Jardín de Niños Interlingua is its highly successful Spanish immersion and dual language programs. From infants through 4 years, students are completely immersed in the Spanish language daily in all academic areas. Starting Kindergarten, students begin our dual language program and are exposed to Spanish half the day and English half the day. Through this approach, our students are achieving bilingual and bi-literate fluency in both English and Spanish in all academic areas.
Focus on Math, Science, Social Studies & Technology
Our unique transdisciplinary approach to learning integrates the areas of math, science, social studies and technology under six main themes: Who We Are, Where We Are in Place and Time, How We Express Ourselves, How the World Works, How We Organize Ourselves and Sharing the Planet. To be truly educated, a student must be able to make connections across disciplines, discover and integrate subject matter, and then relate what they have learned to life.
