Description: |
Jardín de Niños was founded on the belief that reaching children at an early age is the best time to provide experiences that prepare them to successfully maneuver in a multilingual and multicultural world. The school is committed to diversity and developing an understanding and an appreciation for a variety of cultures. As part of an overall educational approach, Jardín de Niños utilizes a Spanish language program in which the children are immersed in Spanish while participating in activities. Once a child reaches the age of four, French and Mandarin are also introduced once a week. |

Each of the six themes will integrate basic AISD standards all children in a given grade must be exposed to. The difference between Jardín de Niños program and public school programs is the level of depth with which a subject or theme is covered. Jardín de Niños covers themes in depth over the course of six to eight weeks. While an average public school, may cover the theme in just one lesson.
